Visa Medical Examination Preparation
- Valid passport (the original passport is required on the examination day).
- Health check examination list/referral letter with HAP ID. (Or: Health check examination list or referral letter with HAP ID.)
- If wearing glasses or contact lenses, bring them to the appointment for the vision test.
- For pregnant women, please bring all dating ultrasound reports (if available).
- Applicants are required to undress to their underwear for the examination (female applicants may keep their bras on). (Or: Applicants are required to undress to their underwear for the examination; female applicants may keep their bras on.)
- If you have any chronic medical conditions with ongoing treatment, please bring medical records and related prescriptions to the appointment.
- The full process will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours (fasting is not required).
- Applicants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent.
- If the applicant is subject to a custody arrangement, consent from both parents and guardians is required.
- If a guardian is signing the consent form, evidence of the guardianship relationship must be provided on the appointment day (in English).
- The parent or guardian is required to bring their ID or passport.
- If the applicant is in good general health, the reports will be completed and submitted (in the eMedical system) within two to three working days.
- However, if your health check requirement includes a TB blood test (Quantiferon-TB Gold), the results may take longer (5-7 working days).
