Children’s Health and Well-being

A parent’s guide to ICWC screening assessments.

At the Intercare Child Wellbeing Center (ICWC) we assess your child’s motor skills, speech, socialisation, and learning style to identify areas needing support, helping them to reach their full potential.

ICWC screening assessments provide a way of understanding how your child’s brain grows and works, especially during early childhood. We look at the big picture considering how motor development, speech, socialisation, genetics and environmental factors shape your child’s overall development.

Traditional screening assessments often focus on diagnosing and treating specific symptoms. Our ICWC approach, however, considers how all of the pieces fit together to better understand and support your child.

We believe in catching challenges early and providing support before problems grow bigger. We aim to promote healthy develop and to give your child the best start.

We use a team approach with medical, educational, and occupational therapy support to create a plan that fits your child’s unique needs.

Instead of only focusing on areas of challenge we also recognise and celebrate your child’s strengths and build on those to promote confidence and resilience.

At ICWC, we believe in supporting your child’s healthy development with care, understanding, and teamwork. Whether your child is facing challenges or you want to give them the best start in life, this approach offers a way to support their unique journey.
